Workshop concept with accommodation ; At TY GOANAG you will spend 4 days in complete immersion, with the artist of your choice and 7 other people just as passionate as us. A very small group for maximum fun! Workshop concept with accommodation much more than a workshop, a human adventure... The artistic escape is neither a class nor a workshop. It’s above all a moment of shared exchange and creativity among women, in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. The idea is to gather like friends, to draw, paint, and create travel journals – without pressure and with plenty of good humor. Depending on the weather and the group’s wishes, we can visit magical places like Dinan, Saint-Malo, or the Brocéliande Forest – and many other possibilities. A room with large tables is also available for us to work on our journals or exchange tips. Everyone brings their own touch and inspiration, making these days rich in emotions and creativity. It’s not about being an expert in drawing, but simply enjoying an artistic and friendly moment together. … and a journey of solidarity! All proceeds from these escapes help fund leisure activities and vacation stays for adults with intellectual disabilities living in medical care facilities.

TY GOANAG works with ARTS SOLIDAIRES, a young non-profit association arts solidaires association loi 1901 The association ARTS solidaires has the ambition to make the arts united; Each of our actions has an impact, more or less visible, on the others... By choosing to participate in a course organized by ARTS solidaires you finance a leisure activity for a person with a mental disability. Today in France of the tens Thousands of young adults with mental disabilities are forced to live in medical centers; However, these centres do not have sufficient budgets to offer daily activities recreational, sporting or cultural activities for residents. The healthcare teams lack resources and despite all their goodwill and professionalism , there are not enough staff to supervise outings and not enough money to organize trips to the snow, to the sea or simply to go to the cinema. However, these residents are sometimes young; when you're 25, you want to move, want to go to the swimming pool, want to go dancing in an adapted club, want to participate in a festival... but without human and financial means, it's not not possible...or so rarely. Boredom is their daily life! ARTS SOLIDAIRES is a young association law 1901 with the aim non-profit. Created by Sophie and Patrick it have like purpose to finance these little moments of joy, so banal for us, so exceptional for them... For this, it organizes artistic escapes and some immersive workshops, with quality artists in a warm atmosphere and in places carefully chosen for their authenticity, their comfort and their location allowing a wide choice of activities. Emmanuelle GERMANEAU 2 workshops in may 2024 "Watercolor is a medium in which I find a very particular effervescence. Particularly in the symbiosis between water and pigments, but also in the speed of action, reaction and adaptation required. What's important to me is not so much to reproduce reality as to capture the moment in a blend of color, line and movement. By painting, I discover the importance of exploring our interpretative capacities and the need to travel in a creative space to orient myself towards multiple and dynamic visual perceptions. The unforeseen possibilities offered by watercolor are an invitation to play with matter. It's an opportunity to experience painting intensely, and to constantly challenge oneself. Understanding and playing with the material, expressiveness and letting go are important pillars of my personal approach, inseparable from my teaching. The correctness of lines, the study of light, the decomposition and superimposition of colors, contrasts and harmony are technical points that I like to get people thinking about. I'm a firm believer in "painting together", in a shared experience where the group is the driving force behind the creative process. Sophie and Patrice's commitment to funding leisure activities for the mentally handicapped inspired me to support this project on a human scale. The four-day artist residency will give us the time and opportunity to deepen our knowledge of drawing, graphic design and watercolor. On the program? Landscapes, portraits, scenes of life... and all your creative ideas to put down on paper. Brittany is beautiful! With good weather, we'll get out of the studio to practice on different subjects and enjoy painting "plein air" in inspiring places like the medieval town of Dinan.

Artistic Escapes No classes – just the joy of drawing and painting together I invite you to join me for 5 days to share, in a relaxed and simple way, our passion for watercolor and drawing. No need to be highly skilled, just come with a desire to create: here, it’s all about the joy of creating together. Learning happens through sharing and exchanging our skills. Together, we’ll explore drawing, watercolor, and travel journal creation. I am not a teacher, nor a professional artist – just someone passionate like you, who has acquired a good amount of skills and loves sharing them. Every day, we’ll discover beautiful spots around my home, perfect for sketching on location. Evenings are warm and friendly: we’ll prepare vegetarian dinners together, with everyone lending a hand – because it’s always more fun to share these moments with friends! Accommodation is in my home, in shared double rooms, for a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The stays take place in St Pern, Brittany, and are organized by the ARTS SOLIDAIRES association. Imagine: 5 days dedicated to your art; Imagine: 5 full days to build meaningful connections with 7 other women; Imagine: 5 days in Brittany – a charming place with a warm and friendly welcome. And imagine that these 5 days of pure joy will also bring happiness to people with intellectual disabilities, as all proceeds are donated to support them. Sophie and Patrice My name is Sophie , I'm 60 years old, and I live with my husband Patrice in this house we've lovingly renovated together. It's a great pleasure for me to welcome you to our home, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where exchange and sharing are at the heart of everything. I'm not a recognized artist, but simply passionate about drawing and watercolors. On a day-to-day basis, I'm a management teacher (nobody's perfect! ), but I also run a voluntary watercolor workshop for an association in Rennes, which enables me to share my passion with other amateurs and enthusiasts. With these artistic escapades, I want to offer a space where we can create together, without pressure or judgment. For me, the pleasure of drawing and painting lies in shared moments, in the beautiful landscapes that inspire us, and in the simplicity of being together. These stays are an opportunity to discover, exchange and create, while enjoying a convivial and enriching interlude. As I speak fluent english (and german) I can arrange an escapade exclusively in this language upon request. This will ensure you feel comfortable during the workshops and fully enjoy the experience without any language barriers. Patrice i s a physiotherapist, a musician in his spare time and of course in love with his native Brittany. Passionate about history, architecture and decoration, Patrice renovated this superb building with his own hands to give it back its soul. Patrice will take care of the logistical aspects during your stay for maximum comfort.
