- Artistic Escapades | Arts Solidaires
Artistic Escapes No classes – just the joy of drawing and painting together I invite you to join me for 5 days to share, in a relaxed and simple way, our passion for watercolor and drawing. No need to be highly skilled, just come with a desire to create: here, it’s all about the joy of creating together. Learning happens through sharing and exchanging our skills. Together, we’ll explore drawing, watercolor, and travel journal creation. I am not a teacher, nor a professional artist – just someone passionate like you, who has acquired a good amount of skills and loves sharing them. Every day, we’ll discover beautiful spots around my home, perfect for sketching on location. Evenings are warm and friendly: we’ll prepare vegetarian dinners together, with everyone lending a hand – because it’s always more fun to share these moments with friends! Accommodation is in my home, in shared double rooms, for a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The stays take place in St Pern, Brittany, and are organized by the ARTS SOLIDAIRES association. Imagine: 5 days dedicated to your art; Imagine: 5 full days to build meaningful connections with 7 other women; Imagine: 5 days in Brittany – a charming place with a warm and friendly welcome. And imagine that these 5 days of pure joy will also bring happiness to people with intellectual disabilities, as all proceeds are donated to support them. Depending on your wishes and the weather, we’ll choose the week’s program together: Dinan with its medieval timber-framed houses, Saint-Malo with its iconic ramparts, Rennes with its urban vibrancy, the Brocéliande Forest with its Golden Tree, Dinard with its elegant mansions – and so much more… Here are the first weeks already open for booking. More dates may follow depending on demand – contact me quickly to reserve your stay and let me know your preferred date: July 12-17, 2026 July 19-24, 2006 Each artistic escape begins on Sunday around 6 p.m. with a welcome drink – a chance to get to know the other participants. It ends on Friday after 6 p.m. We can pick you up from Rennes train station or airport, as we are in the countryside and there is, unfortunately, no public transport available.
- Sophie and Patrice | Arts Solidaires
Sophie and Patrice My name is Sophie , I'm 60 years old, and I live with my husband Patrice in this house we've lovingly renovated together. It's a great pleasure for me to welcome you to our home, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where exchange and sharing are at the heart of everything. I'm not a recognized artist, but simply passionate about drawing and watercolors. On a day-to-day basis, I'm a management teacher (nobody's perfect! ), but I also run a voluntary watercolor workshop for an association in Rennes, which enables me to share my passion with other amateurs and enthusiasts. With these artistic escapades, I want to offer a space where we can create together, without pressure or judgment. For me, the pleasure of drawing and painting lies in shared moments, in the beautiful landscapes that inspire us, and in the simplicity of being together. These stays are an opportunity to discover, exchange and create, while enjoying a convivial and enriching interlude. As I speak fluent english (and german) I can arrange an escapade exclusively in this language upon request. This will ensure you feel comfortable during the workshops and fully enjoy the experience without any language barriers. Patrice i s a physiotherapist, a musician in his spare time and of course in love with his native Brittany. Passionate about history, architecture and decoration, Patrice renovated this superb building with his own hands to give it back its soul. Patrice will take care of the logistical aspects during your stay for maximum comfort.

"For me, painting is the best medium for expressing my deepest feeling about how and what I think and feel about portraying the beauties of nature. My work demonstrates my in-depth understanding of painting, largely in watercolor. Watercolor is the best medium for expressing my deepest feeling about how and what I think and feel about portraying the beauties of nature. My themes vary depending on how challenging and inspiring the subject appeals to my creativity. I love to paint subjects that attract me and finding a subject is not difficult - the subject seems to find me. Observing, walking, sketching, taking photos- -all these offer creative opportunities. I vary my application of the medium depending on the subject at hand. This could either be loose washes or very fuzzy with a lot of details or a combination of lost and found edges as in soft and hard edges. I allow my creativity to flow throughout the working process without restricting myself to any reference materials either from life, a photo or my imagination. I always try to establish a connection between my works and my viewers to enable them to tell their own stories from my works. I love to paint people and places to show my varied audience the other side of the world I live in." .............AWARDS/HONORS/ PRIZES:............ • First African watercolorist to Receive the Saint Yrieix Town Prize Cash Award at the 18ème Salon international de l'Aquarelle du 22 juillet au 20 août 2023 France • First African watercolorist to Win the 1st LUGAR Prize at 2o FESTIVAL DE LA ACUARELA DE SANTO DOMINGO, CHILE, 2023 •First African watercolorist to receive the 1st Cash Prize Winner at the 15e Festival International Confluences, Aiguillion, France 2022 •First African Watercolourist to receive the 1st Award Cash Prize Winner of Prix des Peintres du Moulin (Painters of the Mill Award) at the Troisieme Biennale Internationale d’ Aquarelle de Coquelles BIAC, France 2022 • 2nd Placed Winner in the Holbein Watercolor Competition, Turkey 2020 •Honourable Mentioned Award at the 1st International Watercolor Biennale 2018. Workshop concept with accommodation ; At TY GOANAG you will spend 4 days in complete immersion, with the artist of your choice and 7 other people just as passionate as us. A very small group for maximum fun! Workshop concept with accommodation much more than a workshop, a human adventure... The artistic escape is neither a class nor a workshop. It’s above all a moment of shared exchange and creativity among women, in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. The idea is to gather like friends, to draw, paint, and create travel journals – without pressure and with plenty of good humor. Depending on the weather and the group’s wishes, we can visit magical places like Dinan, Saint-Malo, or the Brocéliande Forest – and many other possibilities. A room with large tables is also available for us to work on our journals or exchange tips. Everyone brings their own touch and inspiration, making these days rich in emotions and creativity. It’s not about being an expert in drawing, but simply enjoying an artistic and friendly moment together. … and a journey of solidarity! All proceeds from these escapes help fund leisure activities and vacation stays for adults with intellectual disabilities living in medical care facilities.

Very educational, Isabelle leads courses in the Paris region, in Rennes and in Normandy. She has exhibited in many galleries and fairs and has won awards. - Jayson YEOH | Arts Solidaires
Jayson YEOH Workshop from july 7 to 11, 2024 "Space is an endless construction from countless moments, the artistic process is endless. One moment leads to another. I can't stop painting." Sophia Rodionov (b. Estonia, Tallin) is an artist based in Israel, working mainly in watercolor and mixed media. Sophia's paintings are inspired by experiences and impressions from her own life through the concept of pause from Japanese culture or, in terms of quantum science, antimatter from the interpretation of the universe. Sophia's deep interest in and love of nature has an impact on her choice of subjects and her artistic language, using organic forms on the borderline between reality and abstraction. Sophia believes that art is a reflection of other realms of human reality both visible and invisible, while art is also the language that allows us to think and create new essences. Since 2019, Sophia has been a co-representative of the Israeli team of the IWS (International Watercolor Society), participating in and hosting watercolor events in Israel, online and internationally. Her watercolors have been widely exhibited around the world, in Europe, the United States and Japan.
